OPENING/CLOSING VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict power consumption of a rotary driving source for driving a valve element.

SOLUTION: This opening/closing valve 36a(b) includes: a valve element 46 having a valve rod 46b and switching a communicating condition and a non-communicating condition between an inlet-port 40a and an outlet-port 40b; a rotary driving source 56; a rack member 63 having a rack part 60 to be engaged with a final gear 59n; and a lock mechanism 54 holding the valve element 46 in the state of opening a valve. The lock mechanism 54 includes: an engagement part 63c provided in the rack part 63; a lock lever 64 provided with an engagement part 64a for holding the valve element 46 in engagement with the engagement part 63c; and a solenoid means 80 for making the lock lever 64 swing with the ON/OFF operation of a solenoid 86.
