PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform ultrasonic diagnosis to enable the countermeasure at the time of emergency. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe 11 includes a selection switch 21 for selecting an ultrasonic observation device 10 for radio communications. The radio communication part 37 of the ultrasonic probe 11 transmits authentification data 39 containing ID of the ultrasonic observation device 10 selected by the selection switch 21 by a radio wave 16. The ultrasonic observation device 10 determines whether the radio communication with the ultrasonic probe 11 transmitting the authentification data 39 is established on the basis of the radio communication state with another ultrasonic probe 11 when a radio communication part 50 receives the authentification data 39 containing ID by the radio wave 16. The radio communication part 50 of the ultrasonic observation device 10 transmits whether the radio communication with the ultrasonic probe 11 is established by the radio wave 16.
