<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a device to be measured during probing. <P>SOLUTION: A signal acquisition system includes a signal acquisition probe 105 having a probe-chip circuit 206 connected to a resistive-center-conductor signal cable 202, and the resistive-center-conductor signal cable 202 of the signal acquisition probe 105 is connected to a compensation system 232 provided in a signal processor, through an input node and an input circuit in the signal processor. The signal acquisition probe 105 and the signal processor have mismatched time constants at the input node 204, with the compensation system 232 having an input amplifier circuit 234 provided with a feedback-loop circuit 245 and a shunt pole-zero pair connected to the input circuit, providing pole-zero pairs for maintaining flatness over the frequency bandwidth of the signal acquisition system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
