<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery negative electrode mixture, a lithium secondary battery negative electrode, and a lithium secondary battery capable of further improving charging-discharging cycle properties of a lithium ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery negative electrode mixture comprises a negative electrode active material and a binder. The negative electrode active material comprises: composite particles consisting of silicon-containing particles, which contain a silicon-alloy, oxide, nitride, or carbide capable of storing/releasing lithium ions, and a resin carbon material surrounding the silicon-containing particles; and a silicon-containing grid-shaped structure binding onto the surfaces of the composite particles and comprising nanofibers and/or nanotubes surrounding the composite particles. The binder comprises alkoxy group-bonded cellulose, hydroxyalkyl group-bonded cellulose, or carboxyalkyl group-bonded cellulose.
