PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for a light-reflecting component, having excellent smoothness of the surface and rigidity. SOLUTION: A composition containing a liquid crystal polyester, a fibrous filler and a flat filler is molded. The contents of the liquid crystal polyester, the fibrous filler and the flat filler in the composition are regulated so as to be 50-90 wt.%, 2-25 wt.% and 2-40 wt.% respectively based on the total content of the liquid crystal polyester, the fibrous filler and the flat filler.
