PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disconnection protective relay device capable of protecting a balanced three-phase AC circuit from disconnection faults, without the need for installing a ground-fault overcurrent relay. SOLUTION: A first disconnection protective relay device 10<SB>1</SB>for protecting a balance double-line power transmission line from the disconnection faults which do not accompany a short-circuit fault or a line-to-ground fault, has a rate of change of current computing section 14 for determining the disconnection faults, based on amounts of current variationsΔI<SB>R1</SB>,ΔI<SB>S1</SB>,ΔI<SB>T1</SB>,ΔI<SB>R2</SB>,ΔI<SB>S2</SB>,ΔI<SB>T2</SB>of first and second R-phase, S-phase and T-phase currents I<SB>R1</SB>, I<SB>S1</SB>, I<SB>T1</SB>, I<SB>R2</SB>, I<SB>S2</SB>, I<SB>T2</SB>flowing through R-phase, S-phase and T-phase of first and second power transmission lines 1L, 2L constituting the balance two-line power transmission line, and a relay calculation processing device 15.
