PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration motor capable of easily vibrating a movable part even when a yoke is arranged at a fixed part. SOLUTION: The acceleration generation device 1 includes: a permanent magnet 4; a movable part 5 including first-fourth plane coils 13-16 arranged in 2×2 facing the magnetic pole surface of the permanent magnet 4, and moved back and forth in first and second directions by making a current flow to the coils; a casing 10 for housing the movable part 5; and a driving current control circuit 17 for independently controlling the current flowing to the first-fourth plane coils 13-16, respectively. The driving current control circuit 17 controls the current flowing to the first-fourth plane coils 13-16 so that the time change of acceleration in one reciprocation of the movable part 5 is asymmetrical between movement in the first direction and movement in the second direction.
