<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously suppress the occurrence of shade irregularities of a dye caused by temperature unevenness and the adhesion of the dye to a surface opposite to a surface to be dyed. <P>SOLUTION: The whole surface 3b opposite to the surface 3a to be dyed of a plastic lens 3 is held by an adhesive 18 applied to one surface of a lens holding sheet 17. A dyeing substrate 8 to which a sublimation dye 2 is applied is mounted in a holding member 9. The lens holding sheet 17, to which the plastic lens 3 is stuck, is attached to the upper opening of the holding member 9, in such a state that the surface 3a to be dyed of the plastic lens 3 faces the dyeing substrate 8. A vacuum container 4 is evacuated and the dyeing substrate 8 is heated by a heating device 6, to sublimate the sublimation dye 2, so that the surface 3a to be dyed of the plastic lens 3 is dyed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
