<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security of data processing with respect to a data processing method and device. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing method includes a step (E308) for verifying a criterion indicative of the normal proceeding of the method and a processing step (E528) performed when a verification result is negative. The processing step (E320) is separated from the verifying step (E308) through intermediate steps (E312, E314) of non zero period. The intermediate steps (E312, E314) and/or the processing step (E320) are started when the verification result is positive and includes at least one action means (E314).
