PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan which has straightening blades at a front guard and always smoothly changes the angles of the straightening blades. SOLUTION: In this electric fan 1, the plurality of straightening blades 10 which extend in the radial direction and the angles of which can be changed about the axis are disposed between the front guard 9 and a fan 7. A straightening blade holding part 20 is disposed on the rear surface side of a rim 11 at the center of the front guard 9. The straightening holding part 20 includes a fixed hub 21 disposed on the rear surface side of the rim 11 and a movable hub 22 disposed on the rear surface side of the fixed hub 21. The straightening blades 10 has a root part 10a sandwiched and held between the fixed hub 21 and the movable hub 22, and angularly changed by the rotation of the movable blade 22 while a rack 38 formed on the movable hub 22 is engaged with pinions 37 formed in the root parts 10a.
