PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal system flexibly coping with various situations. SOLUTION: The traffic signal system is configured as follows; when a signal lamp 2 of one signal 1 is lit in a display color indicating the guide, a signal lamp 2 of the other signal 1A is lit in a display color indicating the stop; and when the color in which the signal lamp 2 of one signal 1 is lit is switched from the display color indicating the guide to the display color indicating the stop, the display color in which the signal lamp 2 of the other signal 1A is lit can be switched after switching timing of the display color or a prescribed period after the switching timing of the display color.
