Disclosed is a lighting device that can be mass produced with ease and with significantly reduced manufacturing costs, allowing the provision of large, light-weight lighting devices, as well as offering a greater degree of freedom in selecting materials and having adequate radiant heat radiation effects. A radiator part is made by press processing a metal plate. For example, the radiator part is made by pressurizing and deforming the metal plate into an approximate dome shape extending in the longitudinal direction, having ridge and trough sections formed alternately upon the circumference of the dome by bending the metal plate into a wave form in succession along the circumference direction and also warping the metal plate in the axial direction so that there is more of the outer side thereof than the inner side thereof at the leading end in the axial direction. |
