<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy electrode for an alkaline storage battery, capable of restraining sufficiently a hydrogen storage alloy from being oxidized by an alkaline electrolyte in an inside of the alkaline storage battery, and to enhance a cycle life characteristic of the alkaline storage battery. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrogen storage alloy electrode for the alkaline storage battery is filled with hydrogen storage alloy powder, a water-soluble binder, a fluoro oil, and a surfactant, in a conductive substrate, and the surfactant is a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether having 45°C or more of cloud point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
