<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide packaged beverage hardly leaving unpleasant aftertaste on the latter part of a tap even after long term preservation, and suitable as thirstiness stopping beverage to be drunken when a person is perspired or the like and wants water. <P>SOLUTION: The packaged beverage includes the following ingredients (A) and (B): (A) 0.005-1 mass% of nonpolymerized catechin, and (B) 0.001-0.7 mass% of proanthocyanidin.
