PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily secure a sufficient sealability between an intake manifold and an internal combustion engine by easily securing a sufficiently small flatness at a flange of an intake manifold. SOLUTION: The flange of the intake manifold includes a base 2 in which air intake openings 2a and a plurality of fastening holes 2b are formed, cutout parts 4 provided to the base 2 outside the areas which are sandwiched by the fastening holes 2b which sandwich the air intake openings 2a, and contact parts 3 which are provided to the base 2 outside the areas in which the cutout parts 4 are formed and brought into contact with the flange of the internal combustion engine.
