PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for two-wheeled vehicle tread which can simultaneously achieve grip performance and resistance to chunking performance and a two-wheeled vehicle tire using the same. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for two-wheeled vehicle tread includes a rubber component, an acid, a nitrogen compound, an alkylphenol-sulfur chloride condensate, and a tackifying resin.
