<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery preventing occurrence of anomaly in an electrode plate by arranging a fixing part, which optimizes a distance between the inside face of a can and the outside face of an electrode assembly, on the inside face of the can, and effectively preventing the electrode assembly from flowing for improving safety. <P>SOLUTION: In the secondary battery including the electrode assembly and the can housing the electrode assembly, the fixing part is located on the inside face of the can. By the fixing part, an interval found by subtracting the diameter of the electrode assembly from the interval between the facing inside faces of the can becomes from -0.12 mm to 0.10 mm. Alternatively, in the secondary battery including the electrode assembly and the can housing the electrode assembly, the fixing part is formed on the inside face of the can, and the total of distances on both sides from the inside face of the fixing part to the outside face of the electrode assembly is from -0.12 mm to 0.10 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
