<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating sialyl lactose material, by which the sialyl lactose material can simply and efficiently and efficiently be separated from a milk material as a starting raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The sialyl lactose can be concentrated and separated by applying simple operations comprising removing proteins from a milk material, adjusting the pH of the obtained protein-removed liquid, and then concentrating the pH-adjusted liquid with an ultrafiltration membrane (UF membrane). Since fractionations from lactose and minerals can be performed, the sialyl lactose can be obtained in a high purity.
