<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device and an image forming apparatus preventing adhesion of a droplet to a sheet in a sheet conveying path extending in a vertical direction. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet conveying device 40 has a plurality of conveying guides 41 and 42. By arranging the conveying guides 41 and 42 continuously in the vertical direction, a paper conveying path 68 extending in the vertical direction is constituted. The conveying guide 42 has a recess 428 opening upward at an upper end 426 on a back side of a principal plane 424. A lower end 416 of a principal plane 414 of the conveying guide 41 arranged upside when the conveying guides 41 and 42 are continuously arranged in the vertical direction is arranged between two inner surfaces 429A and 429B opposed to each other in a direction orthogonal to the principal plane 424 of the recesses 428, of the conveying guide 42 arranged downside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
