The invention relates to a heat pump-based heating system (1) comprising a working medium (2) that flows through an evaporator (3), a compressor (4), a condenser (17a, 17b; 17), and an expansion valve (5) in a closed cycle, as well as a liquid (6) that is conducted within a closed cycle, flowing through a storage heater (7). The condenser (17a, 17b; 17) transfers energy from the working medium (2) to the liquid (6), and the liquid (6) forms a thermal stratification in the gravitational direction inside the storage heater (7). The heating system (1) further comprises a hot water heating device including a first heat exchanger (8) which transfers heat from the liquid (6) to water (9a), thus providing hot water (10). The hot water heating device additionally includes a second heat exchanger (17c) that is mounted upstream of the first heat exchanger (8) relative to the water to be heated and is used for preheating the cold water (9). |
