The ophthalmic microscope (1) is provided with an objective (2), an eye-piece, and an optical path, which permeates the objective and the eye-piece (3). The ophthalmic microscope comprises device to blend or display an angle scale in an optical path of the ophthalmic microscope. The devices are formed to blend either a transparent disk (5) with an angle scale attached on or in it or are formed as circularly arranged lighting configurations. Circularly arranged light configurations are arranged on or in the transparent disk. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring astigmatism of an eye.
