<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a fuel cell separator which exhibits high strength and toughness, and also exhibits superior conductivity and corrosion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a graphite powder coating step of coating graphite powder 2 on at least part of a surface of a metal base material (titan base material) 1, and a cold rolling step of cold-rolling the metal base material 1 with the graphite 2 coated thereon. In the cold rolling step, a total rolling reduction is ≥35%, and intermediate annealing is not carried out in a processing step in which an accumulated rolling reduction is ≤35%. Further in the cold rolling step, a sheet material 3 is arranged between the graphite 2 and a mill roll. Further, the method includes a thermal treatment step of carrying out thermal treatment at a temperature 300-800°C after the cold rolling step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
