PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which supports provision of a uniform inspection without depending on the experience of an operator, shortens a time for preparing an inspection report, and improves the throughput of the number of inspections. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an inspection order information receiving part which receives inspection order information on a patient; an inspection list creation part which analyzes the received inspection order information and outputs an inspection region and an inspection item required for inspection; an inspection method supporting part which clearly indicates an operation method appropriate to the inspection from the output inspection region and inspection item; an ultrasonic probe for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves toward an object to be photographed within the patient; a transmission and reception part which drives the ultrasonic probe to transmit the ultrasonic waves and to receive reflected signals from the patient; an image data generation part which generates an image inside a patient from a received signal obtained by the transmission and reception part; and a display part which displays the image inside the subject generated by the image data generation part and an operation method clearly indicated by the inspection method supporting part.
