PURPOSE: A solar cell for improving photoelectric efficiency and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to simplify a manufacturing process by forming an intrinsic amorphous silicon layer on one side of a p or n type single crystal silicon substrate. CONSTITUTION: A base substrate(110) includes an upper surface and a lower surface. An upper surface receives the sunlight. An intrinsic silicon layer(120) is formed on the bottom of the lower surface. An intrinsic silicon layer covers the lower surface of the base substrate. A p type silicon layer(130) and an n type silicon layer are formed on the lower surface of the intrinsic silicon layer. The p type silicon layer and the n type silicon layer are separated. A p type electrode(150) and an n type electrode(160) are formed on the lower surfaces of the p type silicon layer and the n type silicon layer. |
