[Also in Division A5] A laminated plate for use as an electrode comprises a flexible sheet member 21 having a base layer 26 which may be of cardboard, paper or similar flexible and electrically insulating material, and secured thereto, an electrically conductive skin 27 of metal sheet or foil, such as aluminium foil. The base layer 26 may be impregnated with a synthetic plastics material which bonds the skin 27 to the base layer 26. The edge 28 of the plate may be folded back on itself and may be bonded to the back of the base layer with a material 29 such as adhesive or glue. |
