PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to remove the noise by minimizing the contact between the rotor lower part and the circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor comprises a rotary shaft, a bearing housing, a base plate(100), and a circuit board(200). The base plate supports the bearing housing. The base plate is made of metal material having high strength such as the stainless steel or the stainless steel alloy. A seating groove(110) is formed in the base plate. The circuit board has the shape corresponding with the edge of the seating groove. |
