Provision of IVR resources in BICC networks

A trigger is activated in a call mediation node (CMN) to make interactive voice response (IVR) resources available. If a service node is stored prior to the CMN, then the CMN causes a Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC) procedure called BEARER REDIRECTION to be executed and produces access to IVR resources through the BICC procedure. IVR resources can be made available in BICC networks for the first time directly via a CMN.
