Method for express and selective determination of concentration of mangan in water is in fact that analyzed water sample for analysis is filtered through filter, with introduction of 0.5 g of potassium persulfate, 0.5 ml of argentums nitrate (0.05 mol/l), 5 ml of nitrate acid (0.3 mol/l), 5 ml of phosphoric acid (0.1 mol/l) with boiling on electric range (15-20 min) and with adding acetic-acetate buffer mix with pH≈6÷7. To prepared water sample one immerses pre-treated with reagent material that changes color due to formation on surface oif complex of mangan intensity of which depends on concentration of mangan (II) in the sample, after that one compares color of samples to color test-scale and by coincidence of color of sample and standard on scale one determines concentration of mangan (II) in water. As main reagent one uses azo-dye – carmoazin; buffer solution – acetic-acetate mix with pH 6÷7, solid carriers – web material made of flax. |
