<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a hydrogen peroxide solution with high purity, whereby hydrophobic substances, i.e. hydrophobic organic substances and hydrophobic colloidal metal compounds contained in the hydrogen peroxide solution can be reproducibly removed. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for preparing the hydrogen peroxide solution with high purity, the raw material hydrogen peroxide solution containing the hydrophobic substances as impurities is purified using a purification column packed with an ion exchange resin. As a pretreatment for the purification treatment, (i) the hydrogen peroxide solution is contacted with a carbon dioxide fluid in a liquid, subcritical or supercritical state so as to dissolve and extract the hydrophobic organic substances in carbon dioxide and remove the hydrophobic organic substances among the hydrophobic substances contained in the hydrogen peroxide solution and/or (ii) a chelating agent is added to the hydrogen peroxide solution that is subsequently filtered through a ceramic filter so as to remove the hydrophobic colloidal metal compounds among the hydrophobic substances contained in the hydrogen peroxide solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
