PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the use efficiency of an application server 10. SOLUTION: A mobile telephone 1 accesses an application server 10 and application software is launched in the server 10. The application software is run on the application server 10 based upon instructions from the mobile telephone 1 and the result is displayed on the mobile telephone 1. If the mobile telephone 1 and application server 10 are disconnected and a fixed period of time elapses, the application software that has been launched in the application server 10 is terminated. Since the application server 10 can be allocated to software launched by mobile telephones other than the mobile telephone 1, the application server can be utilized more efficiently.
