PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit receipt notification mail to a mobile terminal in accordance with a schedule of a user carrying the mobile terminal with him/her. SOLUTION: When new-arrival mail is delivered to a Web mail system server 10, the current date/time is acquired and a schedule registered in a schedule server 12 is referenced. A receipt notification mail reject flag of the current schedule is confirmed and it is determined whether the receipt notification mail reject flag is "TRUE", namely, whether transmission of receipt notification mail is rejected. If the transmission of the receipt notification mail is rejected, the receipt notification mail is not transmitted. If the transmission of the receipt notification mail is not rejected, the receipt notification mail is generated and transmitted from the WEB mail system server 10 to a mobile terminal 20.
