PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizer which can be miniaturized and can generate charged fine particle mist efficiently and stably. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizer 1 which atomizes liquid and generates the charged fine particle mist includes: a power supply part 21 for supplying a power; a piezoelectric vibrator 3 for elevating a voltage supplied from the power supply part 21 as the power, with vibration; and a discharge electrode 41 which is connected to the piezoelectric vibrator 3 and performs discharge, wherein a Peltier element 5A which cools a space where the discharge is performed is disposed on a position in the direction (the direction presented by an arrow A in the figure) of scattering the charged fine particle mist from the discharge electrode 41.
