PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ND filter and a television camera which can obtain a video with favorable quality giving no sense of discomfort to viewers, and to provide a method for manufacturing the ND filter. SOLUTION: In the ND filter 10, a first region with a light transmittance of about 100% and a second region with a light transmittance continuously changing stepwise are continuously formed in a circumferential direction of a transparent glass board 32 formed in a disk shape. Therefore, all regions of the transparent glass board 32 transmits image light. As a result, when operating light amount regulation, the region which transmits no image light does not traverse a passage area of the image light and, therefore, no screen becomes dark momentarily when operating light amount regulation. Accordingly, by using the ND filter 10, a video with favorable quality without giving a sense of discomfort to viewers can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
