PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end cap that accommodates the end of a fitting member in a good shape. SOLUTION: The end cap 10 covering the end face 9 of the fitting member 6 having a first surface 1 which is a floor surface or a ceiling surface, and a recessed groove 7 disposed along an intersection part with a wall surface 2 and extended in a longitudinal direction, includes a wall surface side face section 13 arranged facing the wall surface, an end face side face section 15 arranged facing the end face of the fitting member, and a surface side face section 11 provided continuously with these sections 13, 15. The end face side face section includes a projecting piece 16 provided along the surface side edge to cover the end surface of the fitting member when the end face side face section is arranged facing the end face. A swelling part 16a accommodated in the recessed groove is formed connected to the portion corresponding to the recessed groove in the projecting piece, while the surface side face section is formed in substantially a smooth shape.
