The present invention relates to an apparatus for indicating power supply operation, which indicates a turned-on state of a lamp. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a power supply unit which detects a magnetic field generated by a cable when an electric device operates, in order to generate an induction current; a rectifying unit which converts an AC current generated by the power supply unit into a DC current; a charging/discharging unit which is charged with the DC current rectified by the rectifying unit and discharges a smoothed current; a current control unit which controls the DC current to an appropriate current by the smoothed current discharged from the charging/discharging unit; a characteristic-controlling unit which controls the voltage characteristics of the current control unit; and an indication unit which operates by means of the appropriate current controlled by the current control unit, and which indicates an operating state of the electric device during the discharge of the current from the charging/discharging unit. The apparatus of the present invention is advantageous in that a current is detected by means of a current detector from the cable for supplying power to the electric device, and the operating state of the electric device is indicated using the detected current while the electric device is being used. |
