<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an axial dimension of a draw bar 4 and simplify a constitution of a fastening releasing unit, in a chucking device shiftable between a position and attitude to fasten and fix a shank, and a position and attitude to release the fastening of the shank, with a fastening jaw 3, through the axial direction driving of the draw bar 4. <P>SOLUTION: The chucking device is equipped with: a non-rotary and stationary part 2 on a base side in an axial direction of a spindle 1; and a fastening releasing unit in the stationary part 2. The spindle 1 is equipped with: an end closing ring 6 at the end of the base side; an intermediate ring 5 adjacent to the closing ring 6 from the leading end side (shank supporting side). The intermediate ring 5 is combined with the draw bar 4 so that the ring 5 connects with the draw bar 4 to be axially driven in a place adjacent to its operating head. When the fastening is released, an impact force is transmitted to the end closing ring 6 and the draw bar 4 connected therewith from a ring-like abutting surface 10 of end of a piston 9 constituting the fastening releasing unit through a stud 7 penetrating through the end closing ring 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
