PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation for attaching and holding an eaves gutter by means of a hanger fitting; to simplify the operation for detaching the eaves gutter, when the eaves gutter has to be detached; to inhibit water from running down from the rear of the eaves gutter on a building side; and to simplify the molding of the eaves gutter. SOLUTION: In this structure for holding the eaves gutter, the resin eaves gutter 1, which is made of a magnetically-attachable metal or into which the magnetically-attachable metal is inserted, is held by the hanger fitting 2 in front and rear lug portions 12 and 11 thereof. A magnetic attachment portion 26 with a permanent magnet is arranged in the hanger fitting 2 for holding both or either of the front and rear lug portions 12 and 11 of the eaves gutter; and at least either of the lug portions 12 and 11 of the eaves gutter can be magnetically attached and held thereby.
