PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorating device for a new tile base which can stably print an identical pattern to a tile base at low cost. SOLUTION: This decorating device for tile base comprises the following constituent components: at least a pair of decorating members which are made up of left-side decorating members (decorating tools) 11 and 13 and right-side decorating members (decorating tools) 12 and 14 which print the right/left side surfaces of the tile base T extruded successively from an extrusion molding machine, with a pattern using the tips of both decorating members, a left-side elevator mechanism 5 which actuates an ascending and descending operation of the left-side decorating members 11 and 13 which constitute the paired decorating members 11, 13, 12 and 14, and a right-side elevator mechanism 6 which actuates an ascending and descending operation of the right-side decorating members 12 and 14 which constitute the paired decorating members. In addition, the left-side elevator mechanism 5 and the right-side elevator mechanism 6 enable a mutually independent changing of at least either of an ascending/descending stroke length or an ascending/descending velocity of the left-side decorating members 11 and 13 or the right-side decorating members 12 and 14.
