Process for preparing a free-flowing, iron- contng. dietary salt by adding colloidal silicic acid to the dietary salt to prevent discolouration upon storage. Dietary salt with high iron content. The salt is free-flowing, colour-stable and may contain much more iron than known products. The dietary salt may contain 0.2-1.5% of colloidal silicic acid. The white colour is preserved even when adding more than 50 mg iron per 100 g. salt, pref. 200-400 mg. iron, pref. in the form of ferricpyrophosphate. |
