REDUCTION CONDITIONING METHOD AND TREATER FOR NEPTUNIUM BY USING ELECTROLYTIC REDUCTION METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction conditioning method and a treater for neptunium by using an electrolytic reduction method which require no addition of new chemicals and can also adapt to a solution with a high concentration of nitric acid efficiently in a short time.

SOLUTION: Platinum with platinum black is used for a cathode to reduce neptunium ions in a water solution to quadrivalent ones by the electrolytic reduction method.
