PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconstruct a proper optical tomographic image by correcting measurement data when the optical tomographic image is reconstructed by using fluorescence emitted from excitation light of a fluorescent material given to a sample. SOLUTION: Measurement data Dr (x,θ, m) is read when measurement of a control mouse begins, and measurement data Ds (x,θ, m) is read when measurement of a sample mouse begins (steps 200 to 210). The measurement data Dr and Ds used for correction factor setting is set. A correction factorαcompensating the measurement data Dr by the measurement data Ds is then set (steps 212 to 218). Based on the correction factorα, correction measurement data DS (x,θ, m) used for reconstruction of the optical tomographic image is created from the measurement data Dr (x,θ, m), Ds (x,θ, m) (step 220).
