摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical deflector in which influence to the manufacturing step of a mirror device and an assembly into a package is suppressed by disposing a temperature adjustment means for adjusting the temperature of a mirror device in an optical deflector, and to provide a method of adjusting the temperature of the optical deflector, a method of manufacturing the optical deflector and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The optical deflector includes: an optical deflection element which has a plate-shaped movable plate on which a reflection means having a reflection face formed which reflects a luminous flux is fixed, an elastic supporting beam whose one end is connected to the movable plate and which supports the movable plate turnably around a turning axis parallel to the reflection face, and a supporting frame whose one end of the opposite side of the elastic supporting beam is connected to support the elastic supporting beam; an element housing with the body of housing which has an element room to house the light deflection element; and a temperature adjustment means which adjusts the temperature of the optical deflection element, wherein the temperature adjustment means is disposed on the body of the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
