<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detection device permitting secure communication between a tag attached to the inside of a diaper and an antenna. <P>SOLUTION: The urine detection device 11 includes the tag 12 disposed in the diaper 10 and the antenna 16 located outside the diaper 10 for applying drive energy to the tag 12 and transmitting/receiving signals to/from the tag 12. The antenna 16 is composed of frame-shaped copper foil incorporated in a sheet 40 covering a care-receiver 34.
