<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive label, which has an RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) tag function for exchanging information with an external apparatus in a noncontact manner by means of radio waves in identifying an article and the like, and has a simpler structure and a longer communication distance, and to provide a continuous adhesive label that can be taken up to form a long-length roll, and can be laminated without partially increasing the thickness, while preventing breakage of an IC chip. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive label having an RFID tag function includes a thread-shaped inlet (a thread) formed by connecting a band-shaped antenna and the IC chip together, and has the three-layer structure constituted of a surface sheet, an adhesive, and the thread. In the adhesive label having an RFID tag function, the cross section structure in both ends of the thread is the four-layer structure constituted of the surface sheet, a booster antenna, the adhesive, and the thread.
