ELECTRONIC BIN TAG SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly update sales information displayed on an electronic bin tag on site without using an electronic bin tag server in an electronic bin tag system.

SOLUTION: The electronic bin tag system includes: a server having sales information for each commodity; an electronic bin tag which is attached to each commodity displayed in a shop and receives the sales information from the server to display the sales information on a customer display screen and a management display screen to be switched from the customer display screen; and a portable remote controller directly transmitting a signal to select the customer display screen or the management display screen, to the electronic bin tag. The portable remote controller updates the whole or a part of the sales information displayed on the customer display screen by direct communication with the electronic bin tag.
