<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor controller capable of detecting motor step-out driven in a sinusoidal-wave mode. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller is equipped with a virtual-current calculator 10 to calculate a virtual current by ignoring a value to a counter-electromotive force, by using the inductance value and the winding resistance of the motor 1 and a phase voltage; a cross-point detector 16 to detect the cross point of the virtual current and a phase current in a cross-point detecting interval determined as a specified phase region in the positive and negative regions of the virtual current in each phase, and to output a cross-point detecting result showing whether or not the cross point is detected in the cross-point detecting interval; and a step-out detector 17 to detect the motor step-out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
