<p>In order for the task of attaching a needle tube to a needle hub to be easy even if the base end of a hypodermic needle is caused not to protrude from the needle hub and the length that the tip end of the needle tube protrudes from the needle hub is made short, and in order for the quantity of residual medicine to be decreased, a hypodermic needle assembly (2) is provided with a needle hub (6) and a needle tube (5) that has a needle tip that punctures the skin. The needle hub (6) comprises a first member (11) that holds the needle tube (5) so that both ends of the needle tube (5) protrude, and a second member (12) into which the discharge section of a syringe (3) fits and that is connected to the first member (11) while the first member (11) is holding the needle tube (5). The second member (12) of the needle hub (6) has a contact section (33). This contact section (33) is equipped with a contact surface (33b) to which the end surface (52a) of the discharge section (52) of the syringe (3) contacts, and an insertion hole (45) that opens to the contact surface (33b) and into which the base end (5B) side of the needle tube (5) that protrudes from the first member (11) is inserted.</p> |
