PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing apparatus efficiently performing satisfactory stirring mixing. SOLUTION: The mixing apparatus 1 includes: a globular outer wall member 2 in which a prescribed closed space 2C is formed; and a mixer 3 arranged in the closed space 2C. The outer wall member 2 is provided with a fluid discharge port 2A for discharging a fluid and a fluid introduction port 2B for introducing the fluid. The outer wall member 2 has a passage 2D for cooling water, which is formed inside and is configured to allow the cooling water to pass therethrough. The passage 2D for cooling water and a cooling water supply source 15 are communicated with each other via a conduit 4E. A first fluid supply pipe 16 is attached to the mixer 3. One end of the first fluid supply pipe 16 is communicated with a first fluid supply port disposed on the mixer 3, and the other end of the first fluid supply pipe 16 is located on the outer side of the outer wall member 2 and is communicated with a conduit 4A.
