PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a well-known ultrasonic transducer has a restricted application range, and reacts sensitively with, for example, a high-temperature medium and/or an aggressive medium, and a well-known method is not basically suitable to a condition generated in an exhaust gas flow. SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, especially the problem related to a temperature, separation of the ultrasonic transducer from a flow tube by at least one heat-reducing coupling element is proposed. The heat-reducing coupling element is constituted so as to reduce heat conduction from the flow tube to the ultrasonic transducer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
