PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of waterproofing a crimping part, which secures a good waterproof property of the crimping part of an aluminum electric wire with coating and a crimping terminal formed of copper material, and loses no mounting properties of the crimping terminal on a connector housing. SOLUTION: A waterproofing structure for sealing the crimping part with an adhesive tape 6 having a thickness smaller than a predetermined value is formed on the crimping part of the crimping terminal 2, fitted to and mounted on the connector housing, and formed of the copper material, and the aluminum electric wire 1 with coating. The waterproof properties of the crimping part are secured. In addition, degradation of waterproofing properties of the crimping terminal 2 on the connector housing, caused by the waterproofing structure is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
